Data processing

How Hera handles customer data and AI project content

This page summarizes Hera's data processing practices for enterprise review. It is a public summary, not a replacement for a signed data processing addendum, order form, or negotiated customer agreement.

Account and contact data

  • Contact details, account identifiers, plan information, support messages, and procurement communications.
  • Used for account administration, customer support, billing operations, and security notices.

Customer content

  • Prompts, uploaded assets, media files, project files, generated videos, and related creative outputs.
  • Processed to provide the service, generate and render projects, troubleshoot issues, and honor customer instructions.

Usage analytics

  • Aggregated or event-level information about product usage, feature interactions, device, and browser context.
  • Used to improve reliability, understand product adoption, prevent abuse, and improve the user experience.

International transfers

  • Hera may process data using cloud infrastructure and service providers outside the customer's country.
  • Enterprise customers can request contractual transfer terms as part of a DPA review when required.

AI data use

Customer content is not training data by default

AI procurement reviews often ask whether prompts, uploads, and outputs become training data. Hera's public Terms and Privacy Policy already separate usage analytics from user content.

  • Hera does not use customer uploaded assets, media, or user content for machine-learning model training unless Hera receives explicit prior consent.
  • Prompts and assets may be processed by Hera systems and service providers only as needed to provide the requested generation, editing, rendering, storage, support, security, and reliability functions.
  • Hera distinguishes customer content from aggregated usage data in its Terms and Privacy Policy.
  • Customers should avoid uploading data they are not authorized to process or share with Hera.

Operational practices

Retention, deletion, and customer rights

Retention

Hera retains account data and customer content while needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain backups.

Deletion

Customers can request account and content deletion through [email protected]. Some data may remain for a limited period in backups, logs, or legally required records.

Requests

Privacy access, correction, export, and deletion requests can be sent to [email protected]. We may need to verify the request before acting on it.

DPA and enterprise review

Hera can review data processing terms with qualified enterprise customers. Until a standard public DPA is finalized, we will answer DPA and transfer questions directly during procurement.
