1. Use of Services

Hera provides a platform for creating, editing, and sharing motion graphics. You may use our services for personal or commercial purposes, provided you comply with these terms.

• You must be at least 13 years old to use Hera.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password.
• You may not use Hera for illegal activities or to violate the rights of others.

2. Subscription and Payments

Hera offers subscription plans with varying features. By subscribing, you agree to:

• Pay the fees outlined in your chosen plan, billed on a recurring basis.
• Provide accurate billing information and authorize payment processing.
• Cancel your subscription at any time; no refunds will be issued for partial billing periods unless required by law.

3. User Content

You retain ownership of the motion graphics and content you create or upload to Hera. However:

• You are responsible for ensuring your content does not infringe on third-party rights (e.g., copyright, trademarks).
• We may remove content that violates these terms or applicable laws.
• By uploading assets (e.g., images, videos, audio) to Hera, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use such assets solely for the purpose of providing and operating the Service on your behalf, including rendering your video projects. This license terminates when you delete the applicable content or close your account.
• We distinguish between “Usage Data” (anonymized, aggregated analytics about how you interact with the Service) and “User Content” (any files, media, or creative works you upload). Usage Data may be retained and used to improve the Service.
• We will not use your User Content for machine-learning model training, dataset creation, or any purpose other than delivering the Service to you, unless we obtain your explicit prior consent.

4. Intellectual Property

Hera’s platform, including its design, code, and templates, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our proprietary materials without permission.

5. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using account settings. Upon termination:

• Your access to Hera will end.
• We may delete your content, subject to applicable laws.

6. Refunds and Termination

The following terms govern credits, refunds, and the effect of ending your account or these Terms.

Forfeiture on Termination

If we terminate your account or the Services because you breached these Terms, any remaining Credits (Free or Paid) will be forfeited. If you cancel your account or the Services yourself, any remaining Credits will stay available until the end of the current billing period. If we terminate your account or the Services for any reason not attributable to you (for example, security, legal, or operational reasons), any remaining Credits will first be applied to fees owed through the effective date of termination, after which they will expire.

No Refunds

Except where required by applicable law, all fees paid to Hera are non-refundable.

Effect of Termination

Termination of your account or these Terms ends your right to access the Services, but does not affect any rights or obligations that, by their nature, are intended to survive — including, for example, intellectual property rights, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, and outstanding payment obligations.

7. Limitation of Liability

Hera is provided "as is." We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or the accuracy of our tools. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages arising from your use of our platform, including lost profits or data.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions as needed. Changes will be posted here with an updated "Last Updated" date, and significant changes will be communicated to you. Continued use of Hera after updates constitutes acceptance.
